His name means "Bearer of Light."
When he came into this world, his being shone light into our eyes.
Last Sunday (March 4, 2012), it was his first day as an acolyte...
...and Luke brought the "light of God" into our house of worship.
His dad did not live to see this day of the youngest son following in the acolyting footsteps of
Anna and Wesley...
...but he did envision it.
Rob had planned to start acolyte training with Luke and others...
it was on his calendar for September 25, 2011 - 2 days after his funeral...
somehow I have to believe that God's light that Luke brought into the sanctuary
last Sunday and today
shone all the way up to heaven for his dad to see.
At least I hope so...
