Still Rolling Stones

Luke sang at our drive in church service today.

He sang "Still Rolling Stones."

I think he did a great job!

Father's Day

Psalm 68:5
A father to the fatherless,
a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.

Window Visit

Mama was told yesterday

that she could have window visitors

at her nursing home facility

so we had our first window visit today!

Virtual Annual Conference 2020

The boys and I "attended" Annual Conference today.

Virtually.

In our dining room.

While we had on pajamas.

I did put on eye liner and lipstick.

It was different.

We all missed being there in person.

The boys talked about how much they missed

frisbee time at Annual Conference

when the camp ministries pass out frisbees

and they fly all over the room.

The boys had bread and soda for the love feast.

I see "Amazing Grace" in the background
and
in the foreground represented by bread and soda
for the love feast!

Wesley was able to still get a picture "with" a good friend of ours.

All in all, it was a good day at Annual Conference!

Wesley's College Orientation

I was blessed to go to the student/parent
college orientation sessions
with Crystol and Anna.

Yesterday,
it was my turn to "go" with Wesley
for the college where he is transferring
to finish his Bachelor degree.

However,
for this orientation,
we just pulled up my Grandpa Caviness' chair
so the laptop would be eye level for the zoom meetings
and sat on our couch for the sessions.
No driving,
no hunting for parking,
no getting to go out to eat,
and no visiting the student store.
But I am thankful there was a way to get it done!

I am so thankful for all the moments
I've gotten to spend with our babies
- even when they're not babies anymore.

Happy Birthday, Crystol!

Happy Birthday, Crystol Erin!

I hope your day

has been filled

with as much

elation and joy

as you and your dad both had

on this day

after your dad gave you a push on the swing.

This is one of my favorite photos of the two of you!

Happy, happy birthday!

I love you so much,
Crystol!
