I had 5 quilts made...
...1 for me and 1 for each of our 4 children.
I thought that would be the best thing to do for our children to have a tangible reminder of their dad.
I have so many photos of him...
...in so many of the clothes I see in the quilts.
Kay started the quilts in February of this year...
...and finished the last one this month right before the 2nd anniversary of Rob's death.

I thought that was quite appropriate and quite coincidental (a God coincidence) that it came when I am in such a place of healing and peace.
The quilts were the last thing that I had started as a memory / memorial type thing.
And now, they are finished.
And I love every one of them.
Kay did a great job.
She made sure she included details, like his buttons,
his pockets,
the creases in his pants,
and even one logo from his Pamlico Emmaus shirt.
I was so excited when I got the first one in April.
I was so excited each time when I would go to her house to get another one.
And I was so excited to get the last one.
I, and the kids, love them all!
Thank you to Kay for doing such a wonderful job bringing Rob's clothes back to "life" to cover my children with the memories of their dad!
