My Mother's Day 2015
My children.
My world.
My sister sent me Mother's Day flowers.
My sister-in-law, nieces and nephew spent the night with us and went to church with us
while my brother stayed with my mom at the hospital.
These cousins sure do love being together!
We then went to the hospital to take my dad to see his bride
and for us to visit with her as well.
I promise my brother and I are not twins
but we sure do look like it.
Even in the midst of everything going on with my mom
and even though I am very tired,
my view of today
is that
it was a good day.

Edited to add what I wrote to my Crystol this morning on Facebook:
Dear my Crystol Erin,
I will forever be grateful that I got the chance to "mother" you when I married your father.
You are the child of mine who taught me how to be a mother. From the very first time I saw you step out of your dad's car, you have always been and will always be part of my heart! You and I have been through so much together in the last 22 years, my Crystol Erin, and I'm looking forward to much more! I love you so very much, my girl, and I am so proud of you that you are living the life you want and are settling into your very first house (even if it is layered with pollen right now!) with your Alan!
