Dear Rob,
You would be turning 65 today.
Your Medicare eligible birthday.
You got a piece of mail last week
advising you that you should enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan.
Boy, those marketing folks are still trying hard!
You hardly ever get mail anymore.
In the first year or so, it would make me cry when you'd get mail.
But, with this one, it just made me smile.
Because I knew that you would have loved reaching
this milestone birthday and, hopefully, getting to retire.
But also because I knew you sure don't need that Medicare Advantage plan.
You have the best health plan ever in Heaven!
Earlier this year, someone sent me some photos of
you and me
that I had never seen before.
That was nice.
I've seen all of my photos of you
so seeing those "new" ones was almost like seeing you again.

I am so thankful for all of your birthdays
that I was able to share with you.
Your children and I still miss you.
And we will always remember.
