Anna Update on Chemotherapy Cycle #1

As I'm sure it has been for all of you,

it has been a busy Christmas week.

Today is the first day I've had to catch my breath a little.

Thank you all so very much for your

prayers, care, concern, and support for my Anna girl!

She has done remarkably well with her first round of chemotherapy

and we are so grateful and thankful for that!

She has been very tired.

She has been feeling worn down.

And she has vomited some

(even while taking nausea medicine around the clock).

But, overall, she has had a good week.

She was able to get up and keep going.

Wearing a mask, Anna was able to go to Luke's church for their Christmas Eve service

where Luke and Lauren were singing a duet.

And she made it to our church for Christmas Eve Communion.

For the most part, she was able to enjoy Christmas morning

and she was able to spend the day with family.

We do not take it for granted that she has been blessed.

And we are so very thankful!

We pray she will continue on this path of low side effects

and we ask you to join us in that prayer of petition!

Once again, thank you for all of your prayers!

Day 1

9:04 p.m. update:

We just got home!

The rest of Anna's chemotherapy infusion was uneventful

and she did well. However, she is exhausted and ready to rest in her bed.

Thank you for all of your prayers and please pray for no nausea!

Thank you!

3:58 p.m.

Day 1 of chemotherapy underway!

This photo is around 9 am before the chemo started.

She had a bad reaction when it did start so they had to stop for a while.

They gave her other medicines to counter act the reaction and now she is doing okay.

She asked me to let you all know so that you could pray that she doesn't have any more reactions!

Cancer

On November 20, 2025,

shortness of breath sent my 29 year old Anna

to the emergency room.

There were 12 days and 11 nights spent in the hospital.

On December 4, 2025,

we found out that Anna has

large B cell lymphoma.

On December 22, 2025

(tomorrow),

Anna will start chemotherapy.

Please pray for healing.

Please pray for minimal side effects.

And please tell those you love that you love them.
