As I'm sure it has been for all of you,
it has been a busy Christmas week.
Today is the first day I've had to catch my breath a little.
Thank you all so very much for your
prayers, care, concern, and support for my Anna girl!
She has done remarkably well with her first round of chemotherapy
and we are so grateful and thankful for that!
She has been very tired.
She has been feeling worn down.
And she has vomited some
(even while taking nausea medicine around the clock).
But, overall, she has had a good week.
She was able to get up and keep going.
Wearing a mask, Anna was able to go to Luke's church for their Christmas Eve service
where Luke and Lauren were singing a duet.
And she made it to our church for Christmas Eve Communion.
For the most part, she was able to enjoy Christmas morning
and she was able to spend the day with family.
We do not take it for granted that she has been blessed.
And we are so very thankful!
We pray she will continue on this path of low side effects
and we ask you to join us in that prayer of petition!
Once again, thank you for all of your prayers!

I hope Anna continues to tolerate treatment well with few side effects. She looked great at Christmas. So glad she was well and could enjoy it.
