2 1/2 Years

Dear my Rob,

It seems like forever.

It seems like yesterday.

But in the reality in which I live and breathe,

it has been 2 1/2 years today 

since you breathed your last breath.

We are all doing okay

and your children are happy

and growing

and living.

But in many moments,

little and big,

your absence is

still the most obvious

presence. 

Thank you, my Rob, for giving me our children.

Thank you, my Rob, for all of the great years we had.

Thank you, my Rob, for loving me for as long as you could.

We miss you.
