Happy Birthday!
Happy, happy birthday to our Crystol!
This will forever be one of my favorite photos of us!
It's a great photo that I love but it is also a reminder of such a special moment.
Your place in my heart had already been secured way before that day
but that day was the moment that you legally became one of mine.
Such a sweet memory!
I love you!
I hope you have a wonderful birthday!
I love you, Crystol!
Always have!
Always will!
Baccalaureate
Last night,
Luke sang at our local high school's Baccalaureate service.
He sang,
"All My Hope."
And he did such a great job!
Our cousin, Phillip, is a senior at this high school.
So, even though I homeschool Luke,
Phillip and Luke were both seniors together at this event!
Our pastor with both of the boys.
It was a great evening!

Immeasurable
Immeasurable
is the
JOY
I've received
from the
privilege
of
parenting
these
four.
I am thankful.
I am blessed.
And I was able to visit my mother in person
on Monday, May 4th. I was thankful to be able
to give her a hug for Mother's Day this year!

Folded Money
to put into a graduation card.
After I sealed the card,
I smiled
as I thought about the countless times
I have put folded money into cards.
When I was 17,
I watched my then boyfriend’s best friend
fold a dollar bill into a bowtie.
I loved it so I asked him to teach me how to do it.
Ever since that day,
when I am leaving a cash tip on the table
or gifting money for whatever occasion,
I fold it into a bowtie first.
It became such a tradition that some family members
have said their birthdays
when they were growing up
were never complete
until they got their
folded money from Janna!
For 36 years now,
it has been a joy to bring smiles
to those I care about
by simply folding money into a bowtie.
Thinking about this then made me curious.
If you ever remember getting folded money from me,
leave me a comment.
I would love to hear what you remember!
