A Good Find

Today, as I was doing some clearing out and rearranging of my computer desk, 

I came across this photo.

It was taken in June 2010.

It was taped to the side of the paper drawers.

The drawers were arranged differently at the last place I lived...

...in the parsonage.

When we moved here in June 2012, a short 9 months after Rob died, 

I didn't have the heart to take it off.

It had been put there when I chose it to be the photo for our

Christmas 2010 Christmas card.

That card turned out to be the last family Christmas card sent out when Rob was alive.

Since the drawers were oriented differently here than they were at the parsonage, 

I had not seen the photo since we moved here.  

In fact, I had totally forgotten it was even there.

Seeing it today made me smile.

My family, with Rob, was blessed

and I am blessed with good memories.

My family, now, is blessed

and I am blessed with a peaceful present.

I'm thankful I came across the photo.

It was a good find.
